Tea with a vew of .....

the lonesome fisherman.....

who lived in a house on stilts..
between modern civilization and tradition..

and when evening comes....
the fisherman returns....

and before you know it..
he is out at sea again the next morning...

and as for me,
I simply soaked in this moment....
of peaceful surroundings...
appreciating the quietness..

as I sipped my English breakfast tea...

at the Eastern and Oriental Hotel , Penang

a lovely weekend indeed....

follow Kimmie for more tea stories and have a Happy Tuesday!!

I've really missed you and your Tuesday posts. It was such a beauty to see this one. I really enjoyed the visit you shared. Of course, when I saw the first photo, I thought how disparate the two worlds you captured in the photo portrayed. Amazing lifestyle difference between the "haves" and the "have nots." And that breakfast/brunch looked not only festive, but utterly delicious! Happy Tea Tuesday to you too, dear Steph.

such a unique view on the world you have Steph! I'm know there are humble fishermen here as well ... but your city is a city of true contrasts! Thank you as always for sharing your corner of the world with us!!!

p.s. your sweet and delicious looking mango is making my mouth water
