I've been wanting to post these for a while now...
Thank you all who stopped by and for your warm wishes..
I am well but a little too busy at work and squeezing in time being a "weekend artist".....
I've been lurking in blogland (too) :)) once in a while
and I know I have missed much creativity and art and yes your tea stories...
so I have been sketching and painting and collaging away...
and here'a a few to share and they are tea related of course.....
collage and watercolor
Tulsi or the holy basil is one of my favourite teas...
I had this at work and managed to sketch it during lunch....
these sketches are done with reference to an existing illustration relating to
tea producing villages (in China) and their livelihood...
so if you are a tea aficionado like Kimmie and friends, you will love their tea stories for sure...
Happy Tuesday!!

So happy to know that you are well dear Steph...life certainly can get busy but I am happy you still find time for sketching
WOW so wonderful ... you started and have never looked back...very inspiring!
a friend of mine returned from a fabulous trip to China and Korea and brought me some of the most amazing Pu'er tea (I will post about it next week)
one of my favorite Tulsi teas is a sweet rose blend ...
Sending hugs and warmest greetings to you dear one

your sketches and illustrations are so beautiful Steph! I love how you've added collage papers with your tea mug illustration - it looks like the tabletop your tea is resting on.
I just was reading about Holy Basil tea yesterday! I read that nearly every home in India has a supply of Holy Basil - for use as a remedy for just about anything and everything! I will definitely be on the lookout for it :)
Love your tea related sketches! Oh, if only I could sit down and sketch like that on a whim...
I'm just THRILLED to see you back in blogland, Steph. You are always missed when you are gone. These are really, really beautiful sketches, and the colored one shows your love of tea! I take it you drew the last two from illustrations of a tea producing village in China. It was so realistic, it looks like you were there!
Your sketches are so beautiful! Glad you still find time for art in all the busyness. Take care. Tammy
Nice to hear from your and see your sketches. Just getting back and playing catch up myself. Stay well and be sparkly. xox
