these pages were done at different times...
have been pretty busy lately...
will be leaving tomorrow morning to Yunnan, China again..
Although we'll be busy with work
but I am looking forward to meet the wonderful people there...

This quote from the Dalai Lama represents my sentiments right now...

There is no individual happiness totally independent of others"

Yunnan, and our friends and our work in Yunnan makes me happy...
and although the birthday celebration next week may be different this year, but hey, it's the best
birthday present ever...

Tea and Kimchi..

Today's tea is a mixture of dried red dates and longan with radish kimchi.

Brew red dates with the longans for about 10 minutes

and add a dash of pine nuts

sounds like a Korean themed evening? Pretty much..

we love korean food and it's very convenient to purchase ready made authentic kimchi paste and other ingredients for a Korean meal.

 well I hope you've had a good start to the week and go check on Kimmie and my Tea Tuesday

Pay it forward.....

Yes we're back and I've been:

cleaning up

doing the laundry

nursing a back injury

listening to Christmas carols

filling up my travel journal

prepared some textured backgrounds on canvas boards

trying to making some collages

catching up on emails at work

wading through my travel photographs,

where will I be going next week?

 

woke up early this morning at 4 am to put together this journal,

trimming, cutting, sewing and packing my journalling bag and pottering around the house..

phew!!!

nearly there...

it's a busy weekend and running some errands

as well before the trip...

and this "flower" is the ripened bittergourd

I've been busy preparing for an upcoming working trip...
